Riya Fashion

Riya Fashion is located over at No. 238/39 on the 2nd floor. We are right on Pandel Ved Road. It is a busy street most of the time with a lot of traffic passing by. We have been here for a bit now, just working on the different fashion pieces that come through. Being on the second floor helps a little with the noise from the road, but not much. We mostly just keep our heads down and get through the piles of work on the tables. It is a simple setup, nothing like those big offices you see in the city center. We have our sewing machines and the fabric rolls everywhere. Sometimes it gets a bit messy when we are in a hurry, but we try to keep it organized enough to find what we need. The building is older, and the stairs are narrow, so we have to be careful when moving things up and down. Most of the people working here live nearby, so we all know each other pretty well. We drink our tea together in the afternoons and talk about the news. Pandel Ved Road is a good place to be because everything is close by, but the parking is a total nightmare. We usually just walk or take the rickshaw. It’s just a normal workday for us, starting early and staying until the job is done.
