Our spot is at Shop No. 419 in Kohinoor Textile Houses. You can find us near Kamela Darwaja on Ring Road. This part of Surat is always crowded with people and trucks. We have been operating out of this small shop for quite some time. It is not a big showroom or anything like that. It’s just a place where we keep our stock and talk to customers who come by. Usually, there is a lot of noise coming in from the street outside. We deal with various fashions, mainly the kind of items that move quickly in the local markets. My staff and I spend most of our hours folding things and sorting out the next shipments. We do not have a website or any fancy marketing stuff. Most people find us because they know someone who has bought from us before. It is a word-of-mouth kind of business. Sometimes the lift in the building is broken, so we end up carrying heavy bags up and down the stairs. It keeps us busy and tired by the end of the day. We do not have a big corporate story to tell. We just started doing this because we knew a bit about clothes and needed to earn a living. Every day is pretty much the same routine. We open the shutters, clean up the dust, and wait for the first visitor to walk in. It gets a bit cramped in the shop when we have a lot of new stock arrived.
