Surat Saree Shop

We've been at H-2041 in the Surat Textile Market on Ring Road for a while now. It's a busy spot, always lots of people moving around. We deal in sarees, mostly what you’d expect from this part of town. The shop isn't huge, but we keep it organized so people can actually see what's on the shelves. Sometimes the traffic on Ring Road is a bit much, but that's just how it is here. People come in looking for something specific for a wedding or just something to wear daily. We try to keep a decent variety because everyone likes something different. It gets loud outside with all the carts and trucks, but inside it’s just us and the fabric. We don't really do much fancy stuff, just showing the stock and helping folks pick what they need. If you've been to the market, you know it's a maze. We're right there in the thick of it. Most of our regulars are from around here or traders passing through. We spend most of the day folding and unfolding things. It's steady work. Nothing too complicated about how we run things. We just open up in the morning, set things out, and see who stops by. It’s a lot of talking to customers and making sure we have enough of the popular colors. The lights in the market stay on late, and so do we usually. It’s just how things work at the textile market.
