Rai Fashion

You can find us on the first floor of Adarsh Market- 1, specifically at 1059-60. Being on the first floor means we are a bit away from the chaos of the ground level, but the Ring Road traffic is still something you can hear all day long. The market is always moving, with people lugging huge sacks of clothes up and down the stairs. Our space at Rai Fashion is packed with racks of clothing and piles of plastic-wrapped stock waiting to be sorted. The lighting isn't the best, just those long fluorescent tubes that flicker every now and then. We have a small desk where we handle all the paperwork, which is usually buried under fabric samples and order forms. It’s not the kind of place that looks like a high-end boutique; it’s more of a working warehouse and showroom combined into one. We spend a lot of time checking the stitching and making sure the colors match the samples we were given. Sometimes we stay late into the evening when a new shipment arrives, just to make sure everything is counted correctly. The air gets a bit stuffy because the ventilation isn't great, so we usually have a couple of table fans blowing at full speed. It’s a lot of manual work, moving boxes and organizing the hangers, but it keeps us busy. Most of our neighbors in the market are doing the same thing, so we all know each other and share the same daily grind.
