We've been here on Ring Road at 634-635 for a while now. The road is always loud and the traffic never really stops, which keeps things interesting. My desk is usually covered in some kind of paperwork or fabric scraps because things get messy when we are busy. It’s a bit of a trek to get through the traffic in the mornings, but we make it work. Most days it is just about getting the orders ready and making sure everything looks right before it goes out. Sometimes the tea guy is late and that’s the biggest drama of the morning. We don’t have fancy furniture or a big lobby, just the work area and the stock. It gets dusty because of the main road right outside, so we are always cleaning things off. People stop by asking for directions sometimes since we are in a recognizable spot. It’s not a quiet job, but it’s what we do every day from morning until the shutters go down. The lights in the back flicker a little if the wind hits the wires wrong, but we’re used to it. We keep our heads down and just keep moving. It’s a simple setup. Nothing too special to look at from the outside, but inside we are always moving. Sometimes we stay late when there is too much to finish, and the streetlights are the only thing keeping the road bright. It's just a regular place where work happens.
