Our place, Ridham Fashions Pvt Ltd, is on the ground floor of the Millennium Textile Market. Being at N-1740-41 on the ground level makes a big difference for us because we don’t have to deal with the slow lifts as much. There is a constant stream of people walking past our doors all day long. It is a busy environment on Ring Road, and the ground floor is where a lot of the heavy lifting and loading happens. We spend most of our time dealing with bundles of cloth and making sure the inventory matches what we have written down. It’s not a quiet place at all. You can always hear the sounds of carts being pushed and people shouting out orders across the hall. We have a simple setup with just enough space for our stock and a few chairs for when we need to sit down and sort out the bills. Life in the textile market is pretty repetitive, but it keeps us busy. We are right in the middle of everything here. Most of our work is just moving goods and making sure everything is counted correctly. It is a practical way to earn a living, and we’ve gotten used to the fast pace of the Ring Road area. We don't worry about being fancy; we just focus on getting the daily tasks done before the market closes up for the night and we can head home.
