Real Silk Farmers Foundation

We operate out of office 508 in the Takshashila Apartment building. Being right near Majura Gate in Surat means there is always something going on outside on the street. Real Silk Farmers Foundation is the name we use. It is a small office, mostly just enough room for our staff and some metal filing cabinets. We focus on the silk farming community, which is quite specific and detailed work. The building is a bit older, but it serves our purposes well enough for now. You have to take the lift up to the fifth floor, and sometimes it takes a while if the building is particularly busy that day. We spend our hours talking to farmers and trying to coordinate things for everyone. It is not always easy work, and there are plenty of long days where we are still here working after the sun goes down. We don't have any flashy decorations or expensive furniture in the office. It is just a place where the actual work happens. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the traffic and the horns from the gate area, but you get used to it after a while. We are just a few people trying to keep things running smoothly for the farmers we work with. It is a straightforward operation and we like it that way. No big speeches or complicated plans, just the daily grind and making sure the farmers get what they need from us.
