Over here in Adajan Dn, we handle the daily operations for the Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers Co branch. It’s a lot of paperwork and phone calls most days. We aren't a big fancy office with glass walls. It’s more of a practical space where we keep track of what the farmers and local distributors need. There are always stacks of forms on the desks and the sound of someone typing away. We spend a lot of time talking to people about the soil and the timing of the seasons. It’s important work, even if it feels routine sometimes. We get a lot of visitors coming in to ask questions about how much to use or when the next shipment is coming in. The air in the office usually smells a bit like paper and old coffee. We don’t put on any acts here. If we’re busy, we’ll tell you. We just try to be helpful and get the orders processed without too many mistakes. Sometimes the logistics get messy, especially during the peak planting times, but we manage to get through it. Working in Adajan Dn is nice because it’s a good community. We see the same faces every week. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to do our part in the fertilizer business. It’s a straightforward job with a lot of regular tasks that keep us busy from morning till evening. We just make sure everyone gets their bags on time.
