Ratnadeep Engg

We operate Ratnadeep Engg out of the Nilkanth Row House area in Sarthana Jakatnaka. My name is Milankumar Gokuldas Korat and I’ve been running things here in Surat for a good while. It’s more of a workspace than a fancy office. We do engineering work, mostly small projects and repairs that people in the area need. Sarthana Jakatnaka is a busy spot, and being in a row house gives us a bit of a local feel. We have our tools and machines set up where we can get to them easily. It’s not always the cleanest place because engineering work involves a lot of metal and grease, but we keep it functional. We don't really do much advertising. Most people who need engineering work done just find us by word of mouth or by seeing the sign at Nilkanth Row House. We take on the jobs that come our way and try to finish them without too much fuss. It’s just me and a couple of helpers sometimes. Working out of a row house has its pros and cons. It’s a bit tight when we have big equipment coming in, but it keeps us close to the community. I usually have grease on my hands by ten in the morning, which is just part of the job. We do a lot of welding and machining for local people. Surat is a city where people value hard work, and we try to provide that here.
