Rakesh Kumar Sharma

I run my business under my own name, Rakesh Kumar Sharma, out of my place at 129/30 in Krishna Nagar. This is in the Kadodara area of Surat, with the 394210 pin code. It’s a bit away from the main city center, but it’s a good, solid neighborhood. I’ve been working from here for a while now, mostly handling local transport and travel arrangements. It’s not a big corporate office with a reception desk or anything like that. It’s just me and sometimes a helper, working out of this space. I spend a lot of time on my mobile and at my desk, making sure everything is lined up for my clients. I don't go in for big advertisements or anything like that. Most of my work comes through word of mouth from people I’ve helped before. I try to keep things simple and honest. If a trip is going to take six hours, I tell them six hours. I don't see the point in making things sound better than they are. It’s a small operation, but I take it seriously and try to make sure everyone who uses my services is satisfied with how things went. I've lived in Surat for a long time and know the roads well enough.
