Rajkumar Sahani Colour Contractor

My name is Rajkumar Sahani and I work as a colour contractor out of Rander. My main base is near Jilani Tower which is a pretty well-known landmark around here. I have been doing this kind of work for more years than I can count on my fingers. Painting is messy and tiring but I like seeing the difference it makes. Usually, I am the one climbing the tall ladders while my assistants stay on the ground. Rander is a very crowded place and the streets are narrow so moving my equipment is always a challenge. I have a small scooter that I use to get around to different sites. The Jilani Tower area is always buzzing with people and the smell of food from the nearby stalls. Sometimes I take a break and just watch the traffic for a minute. I don't have a big corporate office or anything like that. My office is basically wherever I am currently working on a wall. I keep my brushes in a plastic bag so they don't dry out overnight. It is important to keep the tools in good shape. I have taught a few younger guys how to do the edges properly. It takes a steady hand and a lot of patience. Some days the humidity makes the paint take forever to dry and those are the long days. I just go home, wash up, and start again the next morning.
