Rajhans Travels

Varachha Road is the heart of the diamond area in Surat. Our office is G-38 in the Sargam Complex. It’s in the Un area, specifically Hirabaug. If you know Surat, you know Hirabaug is a very busy junction. Rajhans Travels has been operating out of this complex for a long time. The complex has a lot of foot traffic. People are always coming in for one thing or another. We sit in our shop and watch the crowds go by. It’s a small room, but it’s enough for what we do. We mostly deal with people who need to get to their home towns or for work trips. We don't have fancy brochures with glossy pictures. We just have the bus timings and the rates written down. Sometimes we use a blackboard outside to show the latest prices. The traffic on Varachha Road can be very loud, so we have to talk a bit louder when someone is in the office. We've got a lot of regulars who have been coming to us for years. They trust us to get their bookings right. We don't do anything special, just the regular work of a travel agency. The morning is usually the busiest time when everyone is trying to plan their day. By evening, it’s mostly just people picking up their final tickets before heading to the bus stop. It's a steady way to spend the day.
