Raghav Travels

We are over at Momai Complex on Varachha Road. If you know where V K Sound Gallery is, we are right near that in the Mata Wadi area of Surat. It’s a busy spot, especially in the afternoons when the traffic picks up outside. Our office at shop number 3 isn't anything fancy, just a couple of desks and some chairs for people to sit while we sort out their travel plans. Usually, one of us is here from morning until quite late in the evening. There’s always someone dropping by to ask about bus timings or just to check a price. We’ve been in this part of Surat for a good while now. You get used to the noise of the bikes outside and the heat in the summer months. We keep a stack of timetables on the desk, though most things are on the computer these days. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just how it goes. People around here know us by name, which is nice. We don’t spend much on big signs or anything. Just the name Raghav Travels on the door. It’s a simple operation where we try to get the tickets booked without making a mess of things. If you are walking past Mata Wadi, you’ll probably see us sitting there with a cup of tea, just managing the daily bookings. The walls are mostly bare except for some old notices and a map. We’ve thought about painting it, but there is always something else to do.
