R N Kothari & Associates

We are based in the India Textile Market as well, over on Ring Road in Surat. Our specific spot is A/409. The market is a very lively place to work, always something happening or someone shouting across the hallway. It keeps us on our toes. The office at R N Kothari & Associates is quite packed with documents and books. We probably need a bigger space, but we’ve grown attached to this one over the years. It has a lived-in feel to it. There’s a small area where visitors can sit, but it’s usually covered in a few newspapers or some folders. We don't really go for that corporate look because that just isn't who we are. We are just regular people who know a lot about numbers and rules. Most of our day is spent typing away or checking over things we wrote the day before. We make our own tea and usually eat lunch at our desks while we work. It’s a quiet life in a noisy building. We have been in this area of Surat for a long time, so we know most of the other shop owners around here. It feels like a small community inside a big city. We don't make big promises, we just do what needs to be done. It’s practical work for practical people who just want their stuff handled.
