We’ve got our small office at Ajanta Shopping Centre on Ring Road. The office number is 242. If you’re looking for us, we’re right near the old Kinnari Cinema, which is a good landmark for this part of Surat. The shopping center is always full of activity, with people moving goods and running errands. Our space is pretty functional. We have the standard desks and chairs and a lot of shelving for all the records we have to keep. It’s not the most modern place, but it works for what we need to do at K C Sipani & Co. We usually start the day with some tea and a look at the mail. There’s always plenty of paperwork to go through, and it can feel a bit never-ending sometimes. We aren't here to put on a show or act like some big firm. We are just a few people working hard to keep things moving. The air conditioning works most of the time, which is a relief in the Surat heat. We get all sorts of people walking through the door. Some stay for a while to talk, others just drop off documents and leave. It’s a steady rhythm that we’ve grown used to over the years. We just keep things simple and focus on the task right in front of us. No big secrets or complicated systems here.
