Punam Fashion

We are based at 106 Nutan Avash, right on the 1st Main Road in Chhakkapir Gali. It’s a busy little corner. Punam Fashion is basically just a few of us working in a small space. We don’t have any fancy signs or a big storefront. Mostly, we are just busy with the actual work of making clothes. The street outside is always noisy with bikes and people shouting, but once you get inside, it’s all about the sound of the needles hitting the fabric. We have been here for a while and the neighbors know us well. We don’t really do anything flashy. We just take the fabric, cut it, and stitch it up. Some days are better than others, especially when a machine breaks down and we have to wait for the repairman. We just keep going because that's what you do. We don't have a big corporate story to tell. We just needed a way to earn a living and we knew how to sew. The room can get a bit cramped when we have a lot of finished stock waiting to be picked up. We try to stay organized, but sometimes life gets in the way. It’s just a normal, everyday business in a normal neighborhood. We’re usually here until late making sure the orders are ready for the morning. It’s not a glamorous life, but it is our life and we are okay with it.
