Sky Global Trading

We are over at 134 Shyam Sangini Textile Market. It sits right on the Puna Kumbhariya Road which connects to the Surat Kadodara Main Road. If you know Surat, you know how busy these textile markets get. Sky Global Trading is basically just a spot in this huge building where we handle our trading work. The traffic on the Surat Kadodara Main Road is almost always heavy with trucks moving goods in and out of the city. We spend our days surrounded by fabric samples and shipping documents. It’s a loud place with people constantly shouting and moving trolleys through the hallways. Our space in Shyam Sangini isn't huge but it fits what we need to get through the day. Sometimes the elevators take forever so we just use the stairs. It is quite dusty because of all the construction and the traffic outside. We don't have a big corporate office with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a practical workspace in a very busy market. Most of our neighbors are doing the same thing we are. Trading is a tough business in Surat but we’ve managed to stay here. We keep the shop open late because that's when a lot of the deals happen. If you're coming from the Puna side, the market is easy to spot. It’s just one of those places where work never really stops and the tea is always hot in the glass.
