Priyanka Fashion

Priyanka Fashion is located in Limbayat. We have units 20 and 21 in Narayan Nagar 2. It’s a local neighborhood, not as crazy as the main Ring Road markets, but it still gets busy. We like it here because you get to know the people living nearby. There’s a lot of families around. We spend our days mostly organizing the stock. We have a lot of different things crammed into those two units. Sometimes it’s hard to find a place to sit. We just move a box and make a spot. The street outside always has kids playing or people walking to the temple. It feels more like a community. We open the doors and let the breeze in, though it usually just brings in dust. We spend a lot of time cleaning the glass cases. It’s a simple operation. We don’t have a computer system or anything; we just write everything down in the big ledger books. It’s the old way but it works for us. My brother helps out most days. We drink our tea in the shade of the awning when we can. It’s a long day from morning to night, but we are used to the rhythm of it now. Narayan Nagar is a good place to be for a shop like ours. Sometimes the neighbors come in just to borrow a chair or talk about the weather. We don't mind.
