Prithviputra Farmers Foundation

Our foundation is located in Surat, specifically in the Olpad area at Ishanpore. The address is A-10, near City Ishanpore. It is a bit of a drive from the main Surat city, but that is where the farmers are located. We use this space to gather and talk about the challenges we face with the land. The office is very simple, just some desks and chairs in a regular building. We do not have a lot of decorations on the walls. Most of the time, the floor has a bit of mud on it because people come straight from the fields to talk to us. We are called Prithviputra because we feel connected to the earth. It is a foundation for the local farming community here in Olpad. We deal with the paperwork and the legal side of the farmer group. Sometimes we hold meetings in the open space nearby if there are too many people to fit inside. The area is quiet, which is nice for getting our work done. We are not a charity that just gives things away; we are a group of people working together to make the farming life a bit more stable for our families. It is a long-term thing for us. We have been at this spot for a while and plan to stay. If you come looking for A-10, you will find us easily enough in the Ishanpore section. It is a place for practical talk and hard work.
