Prime Fashions

Abhishek Textile Market is a very busy spot on Ring Road. Our shop, Prime Fashions, is located at number 2126 on the second floor. You have to navigate through a lot of people and wooden carts to get to the stairs. Once you’re up here, it’s a bit of a maze with all the different units and hallways. Our place is filled with rows of clothing on simple metal racks. We don't have much in the way of decoration, just some basic lighting and a few mirrors for customers. The air smells like new fabric and some floor cleaner we use in the mornings. We stay busy with the local traders who come in to see what we have in stock. There’s always a lot of chatter and noise in the hallways of the market. We have a small corner where we keep our drinking water and some tiffin boxes for lunch. Most of the day is spent checking the stitching and the labels on the clothes to make sure they are okay. It’s a bit repetitive, but that’s how the business goes for us. The second floor gets a little less heat than the ground floor, which is a relief. We’ve been in Abhishek Market for several years now. We see the same people every day and we all just try to get our work finished before the market closes. It’s our business and we keep it going.
