Preet Mobile Gallery

Preet Mobile Gallery is located in Surat, right at G-7. It’s a small shop, mostly filled with phone cases, chargers, and of course, different types of mobile phones. To be honest, most of the day is spent looking at cracked screens or trying to figure out why a battery won’t hold a charge anymore. People come in quite frustrated because their phones stopped working, and we just do what we can to fix it. It’s not a fancy place with bright lights and big displays, just a regular counter and some tools in the back. The street outside can get pretty loud with all the traffic, but we are used to it by now. We’ve been at this G-7 spot for a while. Sometimes it’s just me here, other times a friend helps out when things get too busy. We see a lot of people every day, some just want a cheap screen guard and others are looking for a whole new device. We don't really do much talking, we just get to work. It’s a bit cramped when three or four people stand inside at the same time, but we manage. You learn a lot about phones just by taking them apart every day. It’s a living, and it keeps us occupied from morning until we close up at night. Surat is a busy city, and everyone needs their phone working. We just stay here and fix what comes our way without making a big fuss about it.
