Our shop is right there in Ashok Nagar Shopping, specifically shop number one. We are on the Katargam Singanpore Road, which is a pretty well-known part of Katargam. If you’re hungry, we are right below Harikrishna Restaurants, so we always smell whatever they’re cooking for lunch. It usually makes us pretty hungry around noon. The office isn't anything special to look at, just some chairs and a desk where we handle the tour bookings and talk to customers. We get a lot of people from the neighborhood stopping by after they finish their shopping or when they are out for a meal. It’s a busy street, especially in the evenings when everyone is out and about. We handle a lot of local trips and some longer tours too. Most of the work is just sitting with people and figuring out what fits their budget for their next holiday. We don’t use any complicated software, just our regular computers and a lot of phone calls to agents. Sometimes the internet acts up, and we have to wait a bit to confirm things, but that’s just how it goes sometimes in this part of town. We’ve been in this spot for a good bit now and know most of the other shop owners around here. It feels like a small community even though Surat is huge. We just try to be helpful when someone comes in asking about a bus to another city.
