Poojan Impex

Poojan Impex is tucked away in unit 106 of the Belgium Tower on Ring Road. Most mornings start with the sound of the traffic outside getting louder as the shops open up. It is a busy part of town and finding a spot to park the scooter is usually the first challenge of the day. The office isn't anything fancy, just a few desks, some filing cabinets, and a computer that takes a bit too long to start up in the cold weather. We deal with import and export stuff, mostly making sure the paperwork for the containers is sorted out before the deadlines hit. Sometimes the phone rings all afternoon and other times it is so quiet you can hear the clock ticking on the wall. My cousin helps out with the ledger and we usually get tea from the stall downstairs around eleven. It’s a lot of sitting and waiting for emails from people in different time zones. The windows get quite dusty because of all the construction going on nearby. We’ve been in this building for several years now and we know most of the other people on this floor. It is just a regular job for us, keeping things moving and making sure the deliveries get to where they need to go without too much trouble from the customs office. We don't spend much time on decorations because there is always another pile of documents to look through and categorize.
