Our little workshop is located at G 27 in the Bharthana area. It’s not a big retail store with fancy glass windows. We call it a work shop because that’s exactly what happens here. Most of the space is taken up by benches and tools for fixing mobile phones. We have tiny screwdrivers and magnifying glasses everywhere. People bring us phones that other places said couldn't be fixed. We spend a lot of time looking at motherboards and tiny wires. It’s quiet work and requires a lot of focus. The street outside is usually busy, but inside we try to keep it calm. We have a small bench for customers to sit on while they wait, but most people just drop their stuff off. We’ve got stacks of old phone parts in bins for when we need a specific screw or a bracket. It’s a bit messy if you look closely, but we know where everything is. The light above the main bench is very bright so we can see what we are doing. We don't do much advertising. People just find out about Pooja Mobile Work Shop from their friends. We don't charge for advice, only for the actual parts and the time it takes to fix things. We stay open until the last job of the day is done. It’s a good feeling when a dead phone turns back on after an hour of work.
