Pooja Fashion

Pooja Fashion is located at J.R. House, which is tucked behind the Millennium Market on Ring Road. We share some space or work closely with the Guddo Sarees area there. It’s a bit of a hidden spot compared to the big shops right on the main road, but that keeps things a bit quieter for us sometimes. Getting to J.R. House involves navigating through all the delivery vans and rickshaws that clog up the back lanes of the Ring Road area. Once you’re inside, it’s mostly just rows of fabric and the smell of new clothes. We spend hours folding things and putting them back where they belong after someone has looked through them. The lighting isn't the best, so we often have to take things near the door to see the real color in the sunlight. We’ve been back here for a while now, and we’ve gotten used to the way the building feels. It’s an old place with character, even if that character means the windows rattle when a big truck goes by. We don't have any big marketing plans or fancy ideas. We just show up and handle the fashion items that come through our hands. It's a lot of manual work, lifting boxes and moving stock, but that’s the reality of the textile trade in this city. It’s just how we get by every day.
