Pooja Fashion is over at Bombay Market in the Umarwada area. Our spot is I 8, which is just one small part of this massive marketplace. If you’ve ever been to Bombay Market, you know it’s a world of its own with people coming from all over. We spend most of our mornings unpacking things and trying to find space for everything on the shelves. It’s a bit of a tight fit in I 8, but we make it work. The air gets quite thick in the market when it's busy, so we usually have a small table fan pointed right at us. We don’t really do anything special for the shop's look. There are just some racks, a counter, and the stock we’ve got for the week. Usually, we're too busy talking to the guys in the next shop or helping a customer to worry about how the place looks. The Umarwada heat can be tough, but the market stays lively regardless. We’ve got a routine that hasn’t changed much in years. We come in, check the inventory, and wait for the afternoon rush. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we do. The floor gets scuffed from all the foot traffic, and the door squeaks every time someone opens it, but that's just part of being in an old market like this. It's just a normal day for us.
