Our place is at 25 Ravi Darshan Society, right there at the Bhatar Char Rasta in Surat. It is situated right opposite the Althan Tenament, which is a big landmark for anyone living in this part of Gujarat. The crossroads here are always packed with cars and scooters, especially during the evening hours. We have been operating from this society for quite some time. It is a bit of an old building, but it serves our purpose well enough. The noise from the street never really stops, but you get used to it after a few days of working here. Inside, it’s mostly about the kitchen and the counter. We have a small team of local people who help run things. It gets very hot in the summer, but we keep the fans going and just get on with it. We don't have a big corporate office or a polished look. It’s just a regular shop floor where we manage orders and deal with customers. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the traffic at the char rasta, but we try our best. We don't use any fancy talk to describe what we do. It’s just a job and we do it every day. The neighbors in the society are mostly used to us being here by now. We see the same regulars stopping by for their food. It’s a busy life, but it keeps us going.
