You can find Velina Fashion at number 305 in Anupam Market, right on Canal Road. We are quite close to the old Bombay Market in Parvat Patia, so the whole area is always packed with people looking for clothes. Being on the third floor of the market means we have a bit of a climb, but there’s a lot going on around us. Our shop is mostly filled with racks of clothing and some boxes that we haven’t gotten around to unpacking yet. It’s a bit crowded, but we know where everything is tucked away. We spend our days talking to people who come up to find something specific. Sometimes it’s very loud in the market with everyone shouting and moving things, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We don’t have a big staff, just a couple of us here making sure things are running okay. We try to keep the shop tidy, though it’s hard when you’re busy with customers and new stock is arriving at the same time. The Canal Road traffic is always a bit of a mess, so we usually get here early to avoid the worst of it. We just do our work and try to stay organized. It’s a practical life, and we enjoy being part of the market here without making it too complicated. We just keep moving forward one day at a time.
