Panna Paints & Machine Tools

Panna Paints & Machine Tools is at 6 Katargam Princess Street, in the Nilkanth Complex. We are right opposite the Ganibhai Compound. The shop is always a mix of smells, mostly the sharp scent of paint thinner and oil. We have two main sides to what we do here. On one side, we have all the paint mixing equipment and rows of cans in every color you can imagine. On the other side, we have the machine tools that the local workshops need. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze in the Nilkanth Complex, especially when we get a big shipment in. Katargam is a very busy part of the city, and there’s always someone shouting or a bike honking outside. We open early to catch the contractors before they head to their sites. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting heavy paint drums and moving tool crates around. We don't have a fancy air-conditioned showroom. It’s just a functional space where we get things done. Sometimes the paint mixer makes a lot of noise, so we have to talk loudly over it. We’ve been across from the Ganibhai Compound for years, so we’ve seen shops come and go, but we’ve managed to stay put. We just keep our heads down, mix the paint, and make sure the tools are ready for whoever needs them. We keep a close eye on the stock and help people find what they need for their projects. It is just a regular shop doing business.
