My name is at Painter Guru and we are over at 2 Katargam 10Th Cross 1Stage. It’s a busy spot here. I started doing this because my uncle taught me how to hold a brush when I was just a kid. Back then, we didn't have all these fancy electric sanders or spray machines. Now, the shop is full of ladders and buckets that always seem to be in the way when I’m trying to find a specific shade of yellow. Most days, you’ll find us loading up the truck early in the morning before the sun gets too high. Katargam gets hot, so we try to get the outdoor walls done before noon. People around the 1st Stage know our white van. It’s got some paint spills on the side that I never got around to cleaning off, which is funny considering what we do for a living. We spend a lot of time moving furniture and covering floors with old newspapers. Sometimes the tape doesn't stick right if the wall is damp, so we have to wait a bit. It’s not a fast job if you want it done right. We just show up, do the work, and try not to make too much noise for the neighbors. There is always a lot of dust when we sand down the old layers, but that is just part of the process. I like seeing the house look different at the end of the week. It feels good to finish a job.
