Om Gurudev Mobile Hub is on Varachha Road, which is always busy with people and traffic. We have a lot of phones displayed in the glass cases at the front. Most of the time we are busy fixing screens that people have cracked by accident. The traffic noise comes inside whenever someone opens the door, so it never stays quiet for long. We have a small stool for people to sit on while they wait for their sim card to get activated or for a quick repair to be finished. It is not a big fancy place, just enough room for the counters and some shelves in the back where we keep the spare parts. We see a lot of the same people from the neighborhood every week. Sometimes the inventory gets a bit messy when a big shipment of covers or screen protectors arrives. We just stack them up and sort them out when we have a free minute during the day. If you are walking down Varachha Road, you can see our sign above the door. We try to keep things simple here. No one wears a tie or anything like that because we are just here to work. It is just us talking to customers about their battery life or which charger is the most reliable. We have been here for a while now and know how the area works. The tea stall guy next door usually brings us some chai in the afternoon.
