Our office is located in the Empire State Building on Ring Road, right near Udhna Gate. If you are familiar with the Surat area, you know how busy this part of town gets during the day. We are at M-10. It is a small space where we handle bookings and talk to people about where they need to go. Sometimes the traffic outside is really loud, but inside we just focus on the paperwork and the phone calls. We deal with buses, trains, and sometimes cars if that is what someone needs for a trip. It is not a flashy office with a lot of decorations. There are just desks, some maps on the wall, and a lot of schedules to keep track of. People stop by to ask about ticket prices or to see if a certain route is open. We try to give them the right information based on what we see in the system. It can get a bit hectic when everyone wants to travel at the same time during the holidays. My desk is usually covered in notes and old receipts. We have been at this location for a good bit of time now, so most of the local drivers know where we are. It is a practical business. We show up, answer the phones, and help people get from one place to another. That is pretty much the whole story of what happens here on Ring Road every single day.
