Sankheshwar Complex is where we stay most of the day. Our unit is 114. It’s right in Parvat Patia, which everyone knows is a crowded area because of Puna Jakat Naka being right opposite. It gets loud with all the vehicles coming into Surat. We started Nupur Holidays because we knew this part of the city well. Most people around here are looking for a break from their work in the local factories or markets. We sit in the office and talk to neighbors who drop by. The air conditioner works most of the time, which is good for the Surat heat. We have a few brochures on the desk, but mostly we just use the computer to look things up. It’s not a large office, just enough for us to work and for a few people to sit down. We handle a lot of local stuff. Being near the Naka means we see everyone coming and going from the city. Parvat Patia has changed a lot over the years. More shops have opened and there is more traffic now. We just keep doing our thing at number 114. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we have to wait to confirm a booking. It’s frustrating, but that’s just part of the job. We don’t have a big corporate board or anything like that. Just a simple nameplate so people can find us across from the Naka.
