If you find yourself over in the 6th Block near Haladiya, you’ll likely see our place at 201/205 on the 76th Cross. It’s a bit tucked away from the main road, but we like it that way because it's quieter. We spend our days looking at handsets and trying to figure out why they won’t turn on or why the software is acting up for no reason. It’s mostly quiet work, except for when the door bell rings and someone new walks in. The shop is filled with various spare parts and old boxes that we haven't quite gotten around to throwing away yet. We’ve been working out of this location for a good bit of time now, and we know the rhythms of the street outside. Mornings are usually slow, but things pick up after lunch when people are out running errands. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know our way around a circuit board. People bring in their devices and we tell them honestly if it’s worth fixing or if it’s time to get something new. There’s a small park nearby where we sometimes go for a quick walk when the air in the shop gets a bit stale from the soldering. It’s a decent place to work, and the neighbors are mostly friendly. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the task at hand on the workbench every single day.
