New Umiya

New Umiya has been operating out of Kadodara 3 for some time now. We are right in the middle of things here and it can get pretty hectic during the middle of the week. The building we are in isn't much to look at from the outside but it serves our needs. We have a lot of stuff piled up inside because we try to keep things on hand for when people need them right away. My uncle started this and now I help run the daily operations. We don't use computers for everything because sometimes pen and paper are just faster when you are in a rush. The floor is concrete and it stays a bit dusty no matter how much we sweep it. Kadodara 3 is a busy area and there are always delivery trucks blocking the narrow lanes. You learn to be patient when you work here. We have a small desk near the front where we handle the money and talk to whoever comes in. It is a straightforward business without any hidden tricks. We show up, we do the work, and we go home. Some days are longer than others, especially when a big shipment arrives and we have to move everything around. It's just a regular part of life for us. We know most of the other shop owners around here and we look out for each other.
