Asians Exports

We are located in the New Textile Market at C- 2081-2082, right on the busy Ring Road. If you know this area, you know how crazy it gets with all the carts and people moving fabric around all day long. Asians Exports is just a small slice of that big market. We focus on getting textiles out to different places. Our space is filled with rolls of cloth from the floor all the way to the ceiling. It smells like fresh dye and cotton in here most of the time. We don't have a fancy office with leather chairs or anything. It’s mostly just metal stools and a lot of old ledgers piled up. My cousins and I run the place together. We start early, usually before the heat gets too bad, and stay until the market starts to quiet down in the late evening. There’s always someone shouting outside or a horn honking, but we don't notice the noise much anymore. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of the weaves. Sometimes the colors aren't exactly what the customer wanted, so we have to sort that out with the mills, which takes time. It’s a lot of back and forth on the phone. We aren't doing anything revolutionary here. We’re just moving fabric like everyone else on Ring Road. It’s hard work and your hands get stained sometimes, but it’s a living. We’ve been here long enough that the tea stall guy knows our order.
