Our business is based at Plot No 6314/1 in the GIDC area of Sachin. It is a part of the Sachin INA in Chorasi. This part of Surat is very industrial and busy. You can hear the sounds of factories running all day long. We have a simple plot where we handle our fashion business. It isn't anything special to look at from the outside, just a functional building that suits what we do perfectly. We spend our hours managing the production and keeping an eye on the workers. The area is always full of tempos and trucks moving goods back and forth. It can get quite dusty in the summer months when the wind picks up. We do not have a lot of visitors, mostly just our suppliers and the delivery guys. It is a very hands-on type of place for everyone involved. We don't use much fancy software; a lot of things are still written down in notebooks or on clipboards. It is just how we have always done it. The neighbors are mostly other textile or chemical units, so it is a very busy atmosphere all around. We focus on getting the daily tasks done without much complaining. It is a lot of hard work and the hours can be long, but that is the reality of being in GIDC Sachin. We are just a local business trying to keep things moving along steadily every single day.
