About Nakoda Furniture & Mobile – Telecom in Surat
Sayan is a good place to be, even if it gets a bit crowded sometimes. Here at Nakoda Furniture & Mobile, we have a bit of a strange mix of things. On one side, you’ve got wooden wardrobes and chairs, and on the other, there are smartphones and chargers. It started out with just the furniture, but then everyone kept asking about phones, so we brought those in too. It smells like sawdust and new electronics in here, which is a smell you get used to after a week. Walking through the aisles means maneuvering around a sofa to get to the display of mobile covers. It’s a bit cramped, but customers don’t seem to mind. They like to sit on the display chairs while they wait for their phone data to transfer. I usually spend my morning dusting the furniture and then wiping the fingerprints off the glass mobile cases. Sayan has a lot of people moving in, so we see new families looking for a bed and then wanting a new phone connection at the same time. The light in the back of the shop is a little dim, so I usually do the repair work near the front window where the sun helps me see. It’s a family business, mostly. We just do what we can to help the people who walk in the door. No big fuss about it. We’ve been here for years.
