Our office is at 199 Udhna Shraddhanand Road, and it's usually piled high with folders and policy documents. We spend our time helping people figure out what kind of coverage they actually need for their cars or their shops. It isn't the most exciting work, but it matters when something goes wrong. Most of our day is spent on the phone with companies or explaining terms to someone who just wants to make sure their family is protected. We have a few desks and some old chairs for people to sit while we go over the paperwork. Sometimes the tea guy comes by and we take a quick break, but mostly we are just typing away or filing things. People drop in because they got a notice in the mail and aren't sure what it means. We try to keep things simple and avoid all the complicated talk. It’s been our local spot for years, and we know many of the shop owners on this road. We’ve seen kids grow up and start needing their own insurance policies. It’s just about being here and being reliable when someone has a question. The computer can be slow sometimes and the office gets a bit warm in the afternoons, but we stay until the last file is put away. It's a steady life and we're glad to be part of the neighborhood. The evening traffic on Shraddhanand Road usually signals it is time to head home.
