We are located at Shop No -2 in the Sardar Complex, which is tucked right behind Sarasvati School on A K Road. It’s been our base for quite a while now. The shop is a small place, mostly filled with desks and a lot of filing cabinets for all the insurance and financial papers we handle every day. You can usually hear the kids playing at the school during their break times, which is a nice sound to have in the background while we work. A K Road can get pretty crowded with traffic, so it’s sometimes a bit of a squeeze to get into the complex parking area. We aren’t doing anything fancy here. We just come in, go through the documents, and talk to people who need help with their insurance policies or financial planning. It’s a lot of sitting and typing or looking through old files to find what a customer needs. We have a small kettle for tea in the corner and a few chairs for people to sit while they wait. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we’ve been too busy to get around to it. Most people who come to see us live nearby or are parents from the school. We just try to get the paperwork right so nobody has any trouble later on. It’s a regular, honest job that keeps us going. We’ve grown used to the rhythm of the neighborhood over the years.
