My office is over at U 25 in the Yash Shopping Center, right on the Udhna Market Yard Road. It is directly opposite the Jivan Jyot Cinema, so there is always a crowd nearby, especially when a new movie comes out. The shopping center is a bit of a maze, but once you find the U block, we are right there in the corner. I have been working from this location for quite some time now. It’s a small space, mostly just enough for a desk, a few chairs for visitors, and my filing cabinets. The market yard road stays busy with trucks and vendors all day long, so there is always noise coming through the door. I usually get in early to beat the main rush of the market workers. It’s a straightforward operation here. I handle my business and talk to the people who stop by for help. Sometimes the neighbors from the other shops come in to share some tea and complain about the parking situation out front. Yash Shopping Center isn't the newest building in Surat, but it’s a central spot and everyone knows where the cinema is. I don't have any staff or a big team, just me handling the daily tasks as they come. People come to see me for various bits of help, and I do what I can. It is a steady routine that hasn't changed much over the years. I just keep the door open and see who the day brings in.
