Mas Woven Industries

We are located out in Village Mota Borsara, specifically at Block No. 63, Plot No. B in Olampiye Gali. Mas Woven Industries isn't in a big city center, which we actually prefer. It’s a large industrial plot where we do all our weaving work. The looms make a lot of noise, so it’s good that we have some space around us. We have a lot of local people from the village working here. Most of them have been with us since we opened up this unit in Kim. We don't have a glossy reception area or anything like that. When you walk in, you’re basically standing right where the production happens. There's dust from the yarn and the smell of the machines everywhere. We spend most of our time making sure the looms are running smoothly and fixing them when they break down, which happens more often than we’d like. The office is just a small room with a few chairs and a table where we keep the logs. It gets very hot in the afternoons, so we usually take a long break then. We don't use much marketing; our products go out to other factories that know us. It’s a practical, hardworking environment. We just focus on getting the fabric woven and ready for the trucks that come by every few days.
