Our place is in the Rotaliwala Compound, right on the Bamroli Pandesara Road. We’re across from the Bharat Petrol Pump and near the Manhar Dyeing Mills. It’s a pretty industrial part of town. Miraaj Bio Power Pvt. Ltd. is what we call the company. We deal with bio-energy stuff, mostly focused on things like briquettes or fuel. It’s not the cleanest work in the world, but it’s what we do. The yard usually has piles of raw material waiting to be processed. We started this because we saw a lot of waste around and figured we could do something with it. We aren't a big corporate entity with a board of directors. It’s just us and a handful of workers trying to keep the machines running. Some days the machines break down and we have to spend the whole afternoon with wrenches and grease. That’s just part of the job. People come by the compound to pick up orders or to talk about supply. We don't have a fancy showroom. It's an industrial site through and through. The dust can get a bit much when the wind blows, but we’re used to it by now. We try to stay busy and keep the production moving. It’s a practical business. We’re just trying to make a go of it here in the Pandesara area. Most of our neighbors are mills and factories, so we fit right in. It’s hard work, but we are doing what we can to keep the machines humming and the fuel moving out.
