Milan Apparel Exports Limited is situated at Plot No. 62 in the Apparel Park within Sachin Village. Being in the Vanz District means we are right in the middle of a very busy industrial zone. The park itself is always full of activity, with people moving garments and trucks constantly backing into the loading docks. Our daily life is mostly about keeping track of the different clothing items we have to send out. The workspace is filled with long tables and the hum of the air units trying to keep the place cool. It’s a lot of manual work, checking the seams and making sure everything is packed into the boxes correctly for shipping. We don’t have much in the way of a front office; it’s mostly just the production floor and the storage area. Sometimes the rain makes the road near the village a bit messy, which slows things down, but we just keep moving. The staff comes from around the local district, and we’ve all become used to the fast pace of the apparel park. There are always piles of fabric samples sitting on the desks and empty crates waiting to be filled. It isn't a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. We just keep our heads down and handle the work that comes in each week, making sure the orders are ready when the export containers arrive at the gate.
