We are based out of Amarwan Society in Sayan. It is in the Olpad taluka of the Surat district. It is not a big corporate office at all; we are actually located at Shri A.C. Patel’s place. It is a bit more personal and quiet that way. We do insurance work, helping people figure out their life policies and all the details that go with them. Sayan is a bit quieter than the main Surat city area, which is nice for us. Most of the people who come to see us are from the nearby societies or the local villages around here. We sit in a small room with a desk and some chairs. There are usually stacks of papers and various forms everywhere because there is a lot of paperwork involved with insurance. We try to explain things in plain Gujarati or Hindi so everyone understands what they are signing. It is a quiet life here. We do not have big advertisements or anything flashy. Most people find us through word of mouth or because they already know Mr. Patel from the neighborhood. It is a bit of a drive if you are coming all the way from the center of Surat, but the roads are not too bad. We just do our work, process the claims, and talk to people about their families and their future. It is a small setup, but it has been working for us.
