Manhar Traders

Our shop is Manhar Traders and you can find us over on RG Thadani Marg, specifically at L-2 in Udhna. This part of town is pretty industrial, so there are always trucks moving and the sound of machines in the distance. We do a lot of trading, which basically means we are always on the phone or checking our ledgers. The office is tucked away and it’s not much to look at. We have a heavy metal door that we roll up every morning. The air feels a bit thick with the smell of grease and metal from the nearby workshops. Inside, we have rows of shelves that are mostly full of things we've bought to sell later. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who have been here for years. We know the regular drivers who come by to drop off loads. Most of our day is spent making sure the inventory matches what the customers are asking for. It gets quite hot in Udhna during the summer, and our little fan just moves the warm air around. We eat our lunch together at the back desk. It’s a plain way to make a living, but it keeps us busy. We don't go in for anything fancy or complicated. We just stay here on the Marg and get our work done until it’s time to go home. Usually, we are the last ones to leave this row of shops.
