Manavya Garments Private Limited. Located at 316, City Heart near Shrushti Row House in Kosad, Surat. It's a busy corner of the village. We handle a lot of garment work here. The shop floor is usually filled with the sound of machines. We aren't some big corporation with fancy offices. Our space is unit 316 and it's mostly filled with fabric rolls and sewing stations. People in Kosad know us well. We've been around for a while now. The heat in Surat can be quite a lot, so we have big fans running all day long to keep everyone comfortable. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that's just life here. We don't spend money on ads or marketing. We just focus on the clothes and getting them out of the door. The rows of houses nearby are quiet, but our building stays pretty loud with work. We've got a small team. Everyone has been working together for a long time. We know each other’s families and stories. It’s a tight-knit group. Most of our day is spent checking seams and sorting out different sizes. We don't have a mission statement or anything like that. We just come in, do the stitching, and go home to our families. It’s a simple way of working. We hope to stay here for many more years as the area keeps growing and changing around us. It is just a normal life.
