Maheshwari Jari

You can find our shop located at 41463 Bharthana Commerce Six Road. We are situated quite close to the Mast Water landmark, which usually makes it very easy for people to give directions to their friends. Our shop is the place where we handle a lot of detailed jari work every day. It involves a lot of fine detail and small movements, so sometimes our eyes get very tired by the time the sun goes down. The entire space is filled with reels of thread and various materials in a dozen different colors. It is not a huge showroom with bright lights or mirrors. It is more of a practical workspace where we actually get the hard work done. We have a few old wooden chairs for when people come in to sit and discuss exactly what kind of work they need us to do. The ceiling fans keep the air moving around, which is very important because it can get quite stuffy inside with all the heavy fabric lying around the room. We don't really do much in the way of advertising or promotion. Most of our new work comes from people who have been here before or saw what we did for their own relatives. It is a family-style environment, and we often sit and have tea together while we are working on a piece. The road outside can get pretty hectic with all the traffic at the six-road intersection. We just keep our heads down and work.
