Mahendra Ply

Mahendra Ply is located right in the middle of the action at Kismat Shopping Center. We are on Road No.15 at the Teen Rasta in Udhana. If you know the area, you know how busy that three-way junction gets. There’s always someone honking or a rickshaw trying to squeeze through. Our shop is filled with the smell of wood and glue, which I’ve grown to like. We have stacks of plywood everywhere, so it’s a bit of a maze inside. People come in looking for different thicknesses and types for their homes or shops. We don't have any fancy displays; we just pull out a sheet and show it to you. It’s a lot of heavy lifting, and at the end of the day, our clothes are usually covered in sawdust. The shopping center is an old building, so it has its quirks, like a leaky roof during the heavy monsoon rains. We’ve been in Udhana for years and have seen the district change a lot. Still, the way we do business stays the same. We talk to people, show them what we have, and help them load it onto their vehicles. It’s a noisy, dusty, but good life. We close up when the sun goes down and the traffic at Teen Rasta finally starts to thin out a little.
