Bharmal Hardwares

If you go down to Athwagate, you will find us at the Gulabchand Nagar Apartment building in the Gajjarwadi area. We are tucked away right behind Peoples Bank. It is a bit of a different vibe than the big industrial zones because we are more in a residential-commercial mix. Bharmal Hardwares is mostly just rows of shelves filled with all sorts of small parts, tools, and metal bits that people need for their houses or small projects. The shop isn't very big, so we have to stack things pretty high. Sometimes you have to move three boxes just to get to the one at the bottom. The light in the back of the shop is a bit dim, but we have a torch for when we need to find the smaller screws or hinges. People from the neighborhood stop by mostly. It gets a bit busy when the bank next door opens up and people are walking around Gajjarwadi. We just sit behind the counter and wait for someone to come in asking for a specific bolt or a piece of hardware we might have buried somewhere. It is dusty work and your hands are always a bit dirty from touching the metal, but it is what we do. The apartment building above us means there is always noise from people living their lives, which makes it feel less lonely than a big empty warehouse.
